Mr John Campbell - Deputy Chief Constable (DCC)
John Campbell joined Thames Valley Police in July 2010 as Assistant Chief Constable (Operations).
He joined Thames Valley from Hampshire Constabulary where, as Chief Superintendent, he was the Basic Command Unit (BCU) commander in Portsmouth for three years before becoming BCU commander for Operations across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
John began his police career at West Midlands Police in 1988, before transferring to Hampshire Constabulary in 2001. He has performed a number of roles within the police service including uniform, Criminal Investigation Department (CID), specialist postings and as a Force negotiator.
He became DCC of Thames Valley Police in May 2015.
John is married and has two children.
