Local priorities - 'You said, We did'
The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:
You said: Parking
In particular parking sround schools was a local issue.
We have identified the schools where the issue is causing the most concern and alongside our Community Wardens we will be providing high visibility patrols during drop off and pick up times. We have also been working with our local schools to try and resolve the issue. We have put several Safer Parking Initiatives in place and have been encouraging walking to school. Several Warning Notices have been issued for inconsiderate parking.
You said: Anti-Social Behaviour
Anti-Social behaviour in particular the use of Catapults, has been highlighted as an area of concern for local residents.
We have identified some hotspots where this issue is a particular problem and as a result have been organising patrols in all areas at all times. We have been collating evidence from local residents on those carrying out this anti-social behaviour and will be dealing robustly with the offenders.
These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
