Local priorities - 'You said, We did'
The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:
You said: Drugs
Abbey Road has been very active with drug users and drug dealers using the service roads that run behind the houses. We have also had reports of burglaries and shed break-ins too.
The Aylesbury West Neighbourhood team of PCSO’s are spending a lot of time within the area to disrupt any activity. A door knock on every house on Abbey road has been conducted and also leaflet drops for signing up the Thames Valley Alerts so all residents are aware of what is going on in their area.
You said: Vehicle crime
Several vehicles have been broken into on Fairford Leys.
The Aylesbury West Neighbourhood team have been patrolling the area particularly on late shifts in order to disrupt any suspicious activity.
These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
