Local priorities - 'You said, We did'

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  • You said: Anti Social Behavior Basset Court Newport Pagnell

    Reports of youths congregating in the area, and recently activity includes an attempted burglary and a Burglary

    We did:
    High visiablity patrols to identify the youths and move them on, Patrols to deter further Burglaries and set up a Business Watch Scheme

  • You said: Theft of tools from vans

    There have been a number of reported theft of tools from vans parked in various car parks around Newport Pagnell.

    We did:
    High visabilty patrolling, offering crime prevention advice and recording details of vehicles displaying items of value. Identify offenders

  • You said: Anti Social Behaviour - United Reform Church High Street

    Report of youths congregating outside the front of the church and hall and causing issues for the community using the Church & Hall

    We did:
    High visabilty patrols in the evenings to deter and identify youths involved, move them on and reassure the community.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
