Local priorities - 'You said, We did'

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  • You said: Child Sexual Exploitation

CSE is still an area of concern

    We did:
Officers are tasked each tour of duty to patrol the hotspot areas. There are also initiatives such as Hotel Watch being started with more businesses signing up every day. The Neighbourhood Policing Team also work together with Housing, local schools and businesses to spread the awareness.

  • You said: Alcohol related anti social behaviour

Alcohol and the ASB it causes is a real problem

    We did:
Working with the council ASBIT (anti social behaviour intervention team) we have upped our patrols in the area and we authorised a dispersal notice on the weekend of the 11th June to 13th June 2016.The overall matter has been taken on by the intergrated problem solving team to holistically work on the long term problem to reduce the effect it has.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
