Local priorities - 'You said, We did'

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  • You said: Reducing Burglary

To target and reduce hotspots in the area.

    We did:
Operation Coyote has been put in place and high visability patrols are also in place at identified hotspots.

  • You said: Safeguarding Vulnerable People

You were concerned about sex workers on the Farnham Road.

    We did:
We worked with partner agencies to divert vulnerable women away from sex work and close sex work establishments.

  • You said: Reducing Violence and Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB)

Street Drinking and asb were a problem around Farnham Road and Baylis Park.

    We did:
We implemented a target operation to identify those responsible and limit their behaviour using anti-social behaviour legislation.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
